Lester I. Bloomenstiel, LPCS

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Texas. My Master’s degree is in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas. I have extensive experience in treating PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, life adjustment issues, Bi-Polar disorder, attachment disorder, and family/relationship related issues. My goal as a therapist is to understand the client’s current struggles in life, and to help identify the triggering issues so that the best treatment approach can be utilized.

Throughout my career I have gained knowledge and training in various different treatment modalities. My approach uses one or several of the following treatment styles:  Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Equine Assisted Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Satir Communication Model, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

As a goal oriented therapist, I strive to understand and accept the client in their current struggles. Through tailoring a specific treatment plan using various counseling methods I hope to increase satisfaction in daily living. Finding a treatment provider can be uncomfortable and scary. My goal is to make each client feel safe and understood.
